I understand your point clearly

I am not disagreeing entirely with the notion that there can be a potential voice of reason that can aid to a meaningful discussion on xyz topic, an individual without a standardized degree (your point).

My question to you is how do you find these hidden gems that don’t have standardized degrees but can still aid in policy making. If you make the claim that individuals without degrees should be involved in policy making, in the name of science per your words, how do you create such a system
