I largely agree, BUT the censorship by social media companies will fire up the Republican base even more.
it's what they promised to do after 2016, eliminate information that is misleading and attempting to sway elections.
the problem is when they said they were gonna do this people looked at it like a Rorschach test, dems were tickled pink thinking it meant they would banish russian troll farms, and the GOP looked at it like it was 1984 come at last and their right to free speech was forever gone.
in reality it means trimming the fat on sweeping trends that they as liberal people deem potentially misleading. i still dont see a smoking gun here, its a fizzle, but the GOP will treat it like Mt. St. Helens.
also in real reality it was dumb to really take a hard stance on it by the social media giants because removing the posts gave them more legitimacy than they deserve, and it was unlikely to sway voters even if it was massively oversold. now that they're censoring it may actually sway more voters. if i was a GOP anti censorship person i might see this situation as bad, but the trump team themselves should be tickled pink. paint Jack Dorsey as the supreme Orwellian overlord and enjoy the free press as people google search to find out what it is and why it was removed, largely coming across the oversold articles.

Disagree. Proof that Biden murdered children is unlikely to sway Icemage or Thor are this point, but swing voters in battleground states are more malleable. They've already shifted camps several times already.
yes things like covid handling has caused shifts, rich guy has rich son who likes coke isnt it. i think you guys are so excited at the thought it might sway votes you've oversold yourselves. this isnt gonna break anything because covid smashed it to pieces. anyone who went team biden due to covid would vote for a corpse right now to get trump out.
