My wife caught one two nights ago and we dropped it off in the woods

i have a chipmunk trap, didnt put bait in it because ive been busy. well it seems one still wandered in, died, then another came in to eat it, died, and a 3rd came in to eat that one. first time ive ever heard of someone catching 3 animals with zero bait.

Saw a giant wolf spider crawling on our walls last night. Like, his body was almost as big as a quarter. Put it outside in the garden. I'd love to keep a spider like that as a pet so I can watch and film it feeding.

Tried with ants but my queen wasn't sufficiently isolated so she kept eating her eggs. Plan to make a setup in my basement where she's away from noise and find/buy another one.
