Ahem. You mean "we will give batman the boot, have his place / reputation / suit / gadgets taken over by a lesbian and give her dialogue lines that shit on him just because it's so progressive and hot to do that in 2020"

What if they'd just created a new franchise for her without pissing off an already existing fan base, would have helped a lot and had kept the batman franchise intact now how about that.

Ill never understand being so bored that gender politics in media is a big deal to you.

Because it ruins franchises. Not that I care about all of those but batman The Dark Knight was solid for example. Terminator woke fate is another spectacular example of the gender freaks feeling the need to destroy a beloved franchise.

God there are more now I start thinking about it. Even D3 was ruined by it's overly cartoony artwork meant to be fit for living rooms for everyone.

Then the gender and inclusive freaks are outraged when the disappointed fans lash out on the internet. Liek how did they not see that one coming.

You just aren't a real fan of the character or you would know Kate Kane was a billionaire philanthropist who put her money and ability to fight crime inspired by Batman. There is also a Batgirl as well, who because Oracle after Joker crippled her in Killing Joke.

There have been three Robins, one becoming Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and the other becoming the Red Hood who is former Robin Jason Todd who has gone rogue.

Robin in Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller is a woman. You would like that story for its critique on Liberalism and Psychiatry. Batman also fights Superman after the Soviets cause a nuclear winter and Bats is able to synthesize kryptonite. He does this because Superman has become a government stooge to a fourth term Ronald Reagan controlled by Lex Luther in an exacerbated cold war.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I agree with Thor.

If you don't like a film, or game, or other form of entertainment due to the insertion of gender politics (or any other reason), don't watch or buy them. The female Ghostbusters and Oceans 8 are prime examples of people's feet doing the talking. They flopped, all sequels were cancelled, and now it turns out we're likely to see at least a Ghostbusters film come out that pays homage to the originals, rather than tears them down.

Like, thousands of movies are produced each year. That they want to make a batman that's a woman who mocks batman? So what. Some people may appreciate that, and good on them. The rest of the population can ignore it, and wait for something more on the level of Dark Knight to come out down the road.

That's easy of course as long as you're not really invested in the franchise. I don't care to much about movie franchises tbh but I vividly remember how hard D3 sucked after several years of hype train. I never bought the Xpac and will hold back on D4 so I can make an informed decision to buy it or not.

I might be seen as an old school Diablo die hard but that's how it works for me.

Well actually the Batgirl story was much worse. Alan Moore himself said that the editors should have reigned him in when he said he wanted to "cripple the bitch". The cover he drew took a strong and independent heroine and made her helpless and pleading with the viewer to help her, and by the end she was crippled.

Why are you so heavily invested in Batgirl then? Always been a C lister.

It was the Robin in the new Titans show that actually said "fuck batman". That was in the comic news.

I haven't gotten into the DC shows myself so I don't know what they're all about or if Batwoman shit all over Batman in the show. If she did I just don't know.

Oh, and i think the cover is dope, but a lot of fans were upset Alan Moore did that to her.
