It's one thing to be an aggressive journalist, but I just get the feeling watching Acosta that he wants to be the star and create a personal highlight reel rather than rigorously hold the Trump administration accountable and honest.


I'mm still waiting for the first journalist to respond: Trump, I'm not a fan of your work either.. Not the best.. not at all. yet here we are, doing our job, asking difficult critical questions.

Imo you guys are gonna need journalists like Acosta, if Trump keeps attacking journalists when asking critical questions, you're gonna need journalists that fight back.

I'm fairly convinced that most serious journo's don't even turn up to those press co's anymore. Remember when that Hoekstra guy became ambassador and was surprised by hard-hitting questions?

Yeah lol, that was something. It then got explained that it's in our culture to not skip to the next question when the first wasn't answered, Hoekstra wasn't prepared for that. Journalists knowing what they are talking about, and exposing the bullshit. (journalists even working together to get a good answer on a single question)

/e: and lol, he actually states in the vid that US journalism is flawed because they've created an atmosphere where the reporter is rude for asking a question again, when the question was not answered in the first place.
While one should say that the politician is being rude for not answering the question.
