Well it's pushed me into the top 20% of earners bracket and I'm one of the 20ish% of my age bracket that owns (with a mortgage) their own home.

So I'm ticking the win box.

Financial services jobs gonna depend on the trade deal we get. Without passporting I'd say you're options will be pretty limited. But pretty hard to tell right now. A get out option is a good bet, or just shimmy over to Ireland and learn to love guiness.

This is beautiful irony, I have to say.

and your point is?
both the majority of remain and leave voters dont really know what they are really getting

you said that you can deal with people disagreeing, but at the same time you follow the "leave voters were uninformed" narrative
the same is true the other way around

There are loads of brits in normandy, if I had to go it would be there. But just to be clear, I have no intention of going, just using EU citizenship for my personal gain if our government don't sort something good out.

Merkel took too much refugees & Polishes abused the UK healthcare system, so the shitheads populists used it to push the brexit (and then leaving the place like rats on a sinking boat)

UK made a terrible show for decades, asking for exceptions on the currency (£), budget several times, irak...
Many people knowing History of UK & EU are saying "bon débarras"/"good riddance"

Amnesty accuses EU of abetting migrant rights violations in Libya

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European governments are “complicit” in grave human rights violations in Libya through their support for authorities there that often work with people smugglers and torture refugees and migrants, Amnesty International said on Tuesday.

Determined to cut African immigration across the Mediterranean, the governments, via the European Union, have provided support to Libya, trained its coastguard and spent millions of euros through U.N. agencies to improve conditions in detention camps where Libya puts the migrants.

Amnesty International needs to take a long walk on a short pier.

Macron seeks climate action after U.S. withdrawal from Paris accord

Good for Macron. It's far past time for folks to get serious about the climate, not just tell others to get serious.
IMO, the US pulled out for this very reason. We were assuming a very unfair amount of the costs of the Paris Climate agreement.

I think that a graph showing pollution vs. population vs. land area vs. amount spent (under the Paris Climate agreement), it will be obvious, that the US was paying far more than their fair share.

nobody forces these people to come to the shithole of libya, but its not new that amnesty is spreading their "its your fault" pro migration propaganda 24/7

the paris agreement has already failed, even germany will not fulfill the reduction promise as our authorities recently had to admit

thats what happens when ideology driven idiots, who dont even know what an electric current is, decide energy policy
and even worse when a person like angela merkel (who SHOULD know better) goes along with it

thankfully we are quitting the most efficient and emission free way to produce electricity
nuclear power is the way to go
