haha, always the same people those simplistic excuses that lack any substance work on. the whole "restoring law and order" talking point is the flimsiest excuse you could come up with to target even more immigrants. the whole "what obama did was unconstitutional" narrative conveniently leaves out the fact that he tried for years what trump now pretends to be realistically achieved in 6 months (while completely rewriting the tax code at the same time btw): make congress find a lasting solution. only after that didn't happen (thanks to republicans) he decided to establish at least SOME kind of security and official status so that the most desirable immigrants that grew up in america wouldn't have to fear immediate deportation for the tiniest traffic violation...

seriously the whole "i'm just restoring law and order" narrative, while abolishing this program because the letter of the law is more important than its spirit, is so obvious that i think you'd have to be willfully ignorant or outright stupid not to see right through it and realise that there is no way congress will all of a sudden magically resolve this in a humane manner - especially given the fact that trump already signaled the wall would have to be part of the immigration package to receive his blessing.

Those numbers don't include the northwest territories...just the main part of Canada.

/e Hell, if I had included ALL of Canada, it's almost twice the size of the US.

They only let the educated (at US expense) already employable Dreamers...apply for Canadian citizenship.

again, these adult children aged 19-31 are "the best and the brightest " (per US Senators Lindsey Graham (Rino) and Dick Durbin (D)). they are rocket scientists, astronauts, surgeons and whiz programmers thanks to exceptional American education. That means countries should be falling over each other tryna hire all of them and offering them work visas so their nations and firms can capitalize on their labor.

Canada is smart to offer this to as many of these individuals as possible - 200k is a good goal
