There's a pretty massive gap between where Mueller's team is vs. where his team "appears" to be, the subjects that generate so much discussion (that should have been the big takeaway from the Papadopolos plea). This is the rationale for wanting an independent commission in addition to Mueller: people who take outside manipulation of our elections seriously want the American people to one day know the full story of what happened, regardless if things fit neatly into criminal charges that are/are not eventually filed and litigated.
A redundant investigation ? Why not. But registered by who ? The politicized justice ? CIA ? NGO ?
IMO your ppl are already "lucky" to have this Mueller investigation running, because the embarassment vs Russia is so big it would be better to keep everything secret just to not appears weakened on the eyes of the world - i means for national interest-
I guess all that is overflooded by the catastrophic Trump-show anyway.
What i noticed is now Russians can be interested in throwing more oil on the fire, like this:
"Russian ambassador says he won't name all the Trump officials he's met with because 'the list is so long'"
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/16/kislyak-wont-name-trump-officials-hes-met-because-list-is-so-long.htmlSaying that on american media would never have been done without the acknowledgement of his hierarchy.
