I think you would pass out from collapsed lung since the air you're breathing is so insanely hot.

Hard to say what actual experience is though. I've seen people asleep who are DEFINITELY still in pain while working in the hospital.

I've also seen people post-brain-surgery who I wasn't convinced were still alive, but over a few months recovered.
