Just to let you into the clue train a little bit, the palestians fire qassam rockets which are homemade artillery shells that are created ad hoc and are inconsistent design made with whatever materials are available.
The lebanese have access to old soviet katyusha rockets which are truck mounted missiles created in factories with a singular design.

I'm not a military gung ho, but even I can tell you the difference between a mauser and an AK-47. And yet you can't even tell the difference between this:

Don't they teach you basics?

The rocket basics are the same regardless of whether it's launched from a truck, and just because Hamas calls their Qassam, and Islamic Jihad calls their Al Quds, and Fatah calls theirs Kafah, doesn't change the fact that these un-aimed indirect fire artillery rockets are commonly called Katyushas, regardless of who makes them. Obviously some are better-made (in the case of Hezbollah, they have access to old Soviet equipment), but these rockets are all Katyushas. It's kind of like calling bandages "band-aids," even if they're not band-aid brand.

Just so you know, because this is a complicated middle eastern affair of which you are woefully ignorant- the rockets used by lebanon and those used by palestinians are completely utterly different. One is a modern weapon, one is a toy rocket jury rigged.
Katyushas were developed to combat land war tactics on the soviet front to provide a highly mobile artillery that could unload and move away before the counter barrage came back. They are sophisticated truck mounted weapons.
Qassam rockets are a name for all improvised explosive devices that the palestinians shoot at israel, not actual manufactured weapons but homemade rockets.

They are not similar. You can't call a bottle rocket and a nuclear missile "the same thing". You can't call an AR-15 and a Sten "the same thing".
I've built model rockets as a kid better than what the palestinians shoot.


But Americans only see a black and white world, often quite literally. You're either a redblooded flag waving american who eats at mcdonalds 7 days a week, or you're some arab suicide bomber communist al qaeda member.
