haha you entertain me. I should be somewhat honest. Although I am trying to relate a possibility that evolution may not have gone from single-cell organisms or simple chemicals to homo sapiens. once again not saying there is.
The real reason I made this thread, was to learn. I knew nothing of evolution before, only what christians have told me about it.(so ya nothing true about it) I was trying to do it in a way I could find enjoyable. Plus I didn't want to search through the web trying to find what i should be believing as fact and what i shouldn't. I was looking for credible people to point me around using minor troll type luring to get what i wanted. You must realize most of everything I learned was from yesterday and today. before this I wouldn't even acknowledge the name evolution. give me credit for learning even if it is in a fucked up way.

When it comes to biological science, I trust Sioux only since he is pre-med. I trust myself when it comes to physics. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's anyone else who did science/math/engineering who is an active user.

I know for a fact that evolution is real because I have observed firsthand speciation in butterflies living around a lake near where I went to University (we did an observational experiment for an anthro class).

However, I have only ever observed butterflies becoming another sort of butterfly. They did not turn into fish or mammals.

So, from a creationist perspective, God created evolution as a strong mechanism for diversity and adaptation of His creatures, however, divergent evolution (butterflies becoming Elephants) cannot be proven and is thus a lie created by Atheists.
