Falling birth rates are caused by more stupid mindless entertainment for people to distract themselves with. Which is correlated with an economy becoming more advanced.

Japan, South Korea, China, the West is where this is very prominent. Video games, anime, other stupid childish cartoons, all available 24/7 for free at a moments notice. Recipe for disaster.

The birth rate collapse is a separate but parallel issue to the migration crisis - they're happening at the same time and compounding the problem. I can think of another late-stage Empire where this happened in the past

Canada is in the same boat. Covid was their green light. They saw that 80-90% of the planet have no idea what's going on and will obey when asked to. Iran's birthrate plummeted in the wake of the revolution, in the middle of the 1980s. I doubt that mindless entertainment and distraction is to blame for this.

It absolutely holds up to scrutiny. Children are a direct entertainment substitute to the few examples I gave. Without endless mindless entertainment, people are driven by incentive to have children.

There was different wants to suffer a decline in births. Having a civil war to a new despotic regime taking power is one of them - people lose hope for the future.

India has access to the internet and modernity too.

Video games, anime, corn, you name it. What people fail to understand is that a primary driver of having children is to not be alone. The frivolities of the internet make it so one never has to be alone, can write to each other like we are doing right now, etc. But of course, these false interactions are hollow.

Lots of people like to stick their head in the sand about this stuff which is usually a psychological defence mechanism - but *I* play video games and watch anime, it couldn't possibly be the problem! Many are called but few are chosen - the few who muster the force of will to get themselves out of their situation can go on to lead a fulfilling life & have children, the first step is admitting that there is a problem.

Americans & Europeans who currently spend all their free time on their devices are the reason we're being invaded and destroyed from the inside right now. Society need real men and women to take care of our main problems destroying our countries and instead, they rather play video games, watch tv shows and animes or any other meaningless things. Within a few years, we'll be literally fucked where all the shit people live for nowadays won't be possible anymore because we'll lose that freedom. Why? Because of the majority being worthless eaters living for entertainment. Most people born post y2k are a disaster who never really experienced life or contributed to anything outside being corporate slaves and a +1 on their favorite entertainment of choice.

The internet and entertainment industry literally destroyed masculinity. It's crazy to see the state of most men in 2024 that are either overweight or skinny as fuck with no real masculine feature. Every men should do 1h or cardio daily and at least 5 days of 2h weight lifting sessions on top of a perfect diet without processed food or shit people call food in 2024. Men should be learning a few trades to at least know a thing or two in life and contribute to society (Electrician, plumbing, mechanic and so on)

Birth rates in India had been declining throughout the 60s and 70s, then even declined a bit harder during the 80s and 90s. Do you seriously believe that the bulk of India's population during the 70s and 80s had access to lots of entertainment, to video games, the internet and such?

The reality is that people do not, and never have, consciously decided to have children because they're bored - the only indirect correlation there ever was is that people had sex when they were bored, and in the more distant past, more sex directly led to more children. A common demographic trend which is observable all across the globe is that birth rates plummeted wherever and whenever reliable contraceptives became available since 'more sex' then no longer automatically led to 'more children'. Contraceptives have decoupled "carnal entertainment" from procreation.

There are other factors, such as education, culture and war, but the general trend toward declining birth rates is global and not limited to places with abundant entertainment. The trend toward sexlessness in places like Japan or South Korea maybe exacerbates the trend, it maybe makes the difference between having 1.5 children per women or having 0.9, but it's not the root cause of declining birth rates.

Big time. Weakness is championed as a moral good, strength is shunned as a moral evil. It's legitimately sad how many men nowadays choose to spend their unmarried/no family free time on mindless entertainment, I'll add watching sports in here too because that's a big degenerate one that people sidestep. It's sad how most men don't even understand what it feels like to have a strong mobile body, and they're too proud to step under the barbell and humble themselves through hard physical work. The average woman today is more masculine, capable, and stronger than the average man.
