Yeah it’s a main reason we transitioned to nanny
Cost is almost the same and a lot less headache. Plus this story terrified me. Our 2 yr old had Parainfluenza at 1 yr old, almost a week of fevers that we managed with Tylenol and eventually she got over it but the idea of some random daycare worker making a report… yeah rage is the right word for how I would feel
and its a roll of the dice. my wife has a kid in her class, red bumps EVERYWHERE. nurse checks, not chicken pox, almost certainly bed bugs. nurse calls mom. mom comes in next day swearing at my wife, unprofessional this and unprofessional that. its a wonder she knows that word as she must have an IQ of 50. mom of the kid was "so mad at the call" the she had to drop off her son at her aunts house for 4 days. he shows up back to school, no bumps. my wife asks and the aunt says yup happens with all of their kids. they get dropped off with bumps and they go away after a few days, oh and btw the whole family knows about the bed bugs. mom of the kid claimed it was spider bites, head to toe spider bites lol. wtf.
no chance CPS will even respond, they get notified automatically but no chance they respond.
