Pretty much. Most of us that are married have had toxic interactions. It's part of the ups and downs of marriage. Not justifying or defending his actions but I personally wouldn't jump on the hate bandwagon, because if I look at my life and relationship with my wife, there are also moments i can safely say I behaved like an ass hat. The fact this video was aired, shows she's at least somewhat vindictive and wanted to publicly destroy him.

It's pretty sad situation for him and his wife, even more so for the kids. My thoughts is because this is so public and shameful, possibility of some reconciliation oh idk 1 year, 5 years, 10 years down the line is much less probable, so really sucks for the kids.

The way this guy tells her to not use the car, then talking about himself immediately after like that (only watched a part of the video) is enough to say he's really a fucking piece of shit.

This is true. We have to remember if the intention is to destroy his character (which is obvious if a woman is divorcing a celebrity) this was basically the worst footage she could find to release, and still had to edit things out.

When it comes down to it this is a cleverly edited video used to defame a controversial person. Seems kind of blown out.

Isn't the divorce rate in France like 55% making it nearly as bad as us North Americans. You know why. Because people are shit to each other and while proximity results in attraction it also results in aggravation making even the most sensible of us act like petty children or raging children.

What's captured here is shitty, no doubt but probably par for the course for most relationships honestly. But the guy claims to be some beacon of altruistic values and it turns out he's just the average so he probably should fuck off going forward preaching his values.

France is 1.9 vs US which is 2.7 / 1000 Divorce rate. How a conservative christian blogger can represent the "average" anyway ...

Don't think that's the statistic you want. The marriage rate per 1000 is lower than the USA so naturally there's less divorces. That's logical. I think you want % of marriages that end in divorce, based on 2020 it was 55% there's probably more recent published stats that's just a quick google.

Point being again toss cameras over any marriages couples home and broadcast to the world the shitty moments. Bet you on average it's this or worse and this is what his wife actually picked to show with intention of obviously tossing something damaging out there. I mean if this is the worst moment, well people should probably look deeply at themselves before saying what a monster

Perhaps I'm just projecting since I've been through a few doozys myself but given the high rate of divorce and that's only those who actually went through divorce and doesn't count the unhappy relationships out there I don't think I'm far off the mark.

The guy does now though need to knock off his preaching.

Depending on the culture people can still stay married while living separately etc... Or quit earlier because social "protection" for single parents can allow it.
=> U.S are much more religious and have much less social protection for single parent, and still have around same "marriage fail rate" while it should be logically very much lower than Fra IMHO.

One sure thing, like the mother in the video: U.S. has world's highest rate of children living in single-parent btw.



So, don't make conclusions on this and figure out how a "christian conservative" managed to get flamed by his own kind.
