do you see this ? this is why I will continue to debate with meanwhile, because while he disagrees with my position and challenges me on basic ideas, he has very valid concerns and challenges that he can verbalise without always being toxic or acting in bad faith. He is right - I do not talk much about the russian attrocities in ukraine.

Meanwhile - the reason why I do not talk much about russian war crimes and what they do to ukraine, is because you and others do. If you look closely, I never refute what is said - russia DOES commit war crimes, russia clearly wants to destroy ukraine and russian armed forces are no patch on the ukrianian defenders. Putin has this idea of sphere of influence in his head, which is wrong, and Putin has betrayed ukraine. If at times you wonder why I dont further support you re: russian aggression its because this is a western website and the predominant position is yours, and there should be a counter balance or at the very least we should question what we are being fed.

This Drone is a perfect example. The US is actively supporting Russia's enemy, on Russia's border. In response to this downing of a drone there are calls in the US for the US to destroy Russian Jets. A shooting war can escalate very very fast and certain actions will result in a hard wired response. I honestly can say that I will ever challenge that this is a bad idea. While I would like to think that everyone does not want a shooting war between the US and Russia the simple fact is we are getting closer and closer to that.

i just made an analogy because you didn't seem to understand it otherwise. the chinese spy balloon(s) violated american air space. also, the chinese were not trying to provide surveillance to a country that is currently defending itself against american military aggression. so that analogy is considerably worse.

it's funny, when pressed on it directly you acknowledge that russia's invasion of ukraine is unjust - but every post of your is framed in a way that favours moscow's perspective. context matters. russia is currently killing ukrainians in order to conquer their land. maybe remind yourself of that when you comment on such situations? they aren't happening in a vacuum, you know?
