Part of the ATC system is already privatized since 2005. Lockheed Martin took over flight service station ATC functions. They got rid of 2/3rds of the former Federal workforce and their FS21 system caused major havoc with the rest of the tower and enroute structure, not including the consolidation and facility closures. It has shown to increase prices and hurt workers most of all. Basically you want to take a job who's bottom line is safety and turn it over to companies whose bottom line is profit and you wonder why people don't take you seriously.
Just more anti-capitalistic rhetoric and misrepresentations of what the change would entail and its results.
Its shown to have worked with great results in other countries like canada.
but you want to simplify it as privatize bad, government =good safety. in reality there are big problems and we are behind other countries in this regard
