For me the proof is that this "Russian agent" that was sentenced in the all important Russia-connection case was sentenced to only 18 months in prison after she pleaded guilty. She was released, deported and that was it.

If there really was overwhelming evidence against this individual she'd still be doing time and they'd be able to stick it to Trump but nothing happened.

not necessarily. during the trump russiagate mania i'm sure they'd have givens ANYONE a deal that was outstanding in an attempt to get Trump. Manafort and Flynn ended up taking harsh sentences for fairly minor crimes due to loyalty. the fact that whatever info she gave them amounted to nothing against trump isnt surprising, they were fishing for a direct connection that didnt exist. in the end she's perhaps the most direct russian connection the entire Mueller saga uncovered, and its very underwhelming at best.
