Man you should check out Milton Friedman, some of those things you posted sound black as sin

The other half made me chuckle because you think theyll get done

a political platform = "what ill try" not "i'll get this done".

voters should all know this, few do.

My meaning is that much of it shouldnt/cant be done by government mandate and is largely left to the markets

His supposed stance on climate change was my main one. The thing about landlords struck me as pretty bad too when i was going down the list

yeah im not sure how u achieve the power plant goal, but maybe he thinks a combination of increasing emissions fines and tax incentives can get it done.

as to school buses tho that's do-able, just expensive. Oshkosh WI has a full line of green buses that im shocked has worked out so well.

the solar panels bit idk wut that is lol.

Yeah you pretty much have all of my assessments

Furthermore though, I dont think its even desirable to do any of those things by govt mandate, i think it will be way more seamless and efficient to just allow free markets to operate. Solar panels have come a long way and will continue to do so and gradually replace other means of power, giving time for many people in the industry to retire or change fields

Im still voting trump as i still firmly believe that presidents have enough say to say no to getting us into another war and i think Trump is far less likely (less political lobbyist baggage) to get us into another expensive war than biden.

school buses aren't purely the free market tho. for several reasons. 1, the tax payer foots the bill. 2, if a bus company already exists in a school district with only 1 school there is no competition.

like what are you gonna do? start a school bus company in a town that already has one and hope to outbid them?

i'd be fine with low emissions school buses, but it could be tricky to implement. we dont own the buses as a country, but also competition is nonexistent in many places.

I kinda disagree. It depends on how its done. If prisoners volunteer to go out then indentured servitude would be more apt

In that example i just wouldnt push them to do either and allow the school district to choose whatever bus best fit their needs.
