Don't you go saying "us". You aren't America. Hell, I'm half not America, one of my parents is a 1st gen immigrant. The people who've been here since the fucking 1600s are America but at least I recognize that and am grateful instead of entitled like you. The reason it's the greatest country in the world is because

- It's a massive island full of some of best land and resources in the world that is virtually impossible to invade because of geography
- It was a nation comprised of the most intrepid Europeans, apparently the shit ones stayed behind
- It was first colonized by the British, and then a bunch of Germans came, a pretty damn good recipe for making a functioning civilization

TLDR it's an overpowered start location settled by overpowered people. Third worlders do not make it better.

At the end of the day, you have to look at the math though. Modern immigration dwarfs that of the past in terms of numbers.

There are also some serious downsides to immigration in if you let in the wrong people. If other countries dont offer the right people, we shouldnt have to let them in.

The big problem with immigration is how you attract the desirable immigrants you want and need vs. how to not let in the young male losers nobody wants. If you are openly hostile against immigration, you lose the first group - if you are too open, you get more of the latter.

I can say with many certainties that modern immigration is a mistake. I live in a country where 1 in 3 werent here 10 years ago. and I dont mean not born. 1 in 3 are migrants within 10 years. its becoming a 3rd world shitole by the day. they poo and pee in the sand at the fucking beach. poach spawning salmon in the rivers and creeks. poach any animals they can. will steal anything not locked up. its fucking insane. and they have their own organized crime groups forming now.
