We are a country built on immigration. It's what made us the greatest country in the world.
The primary message of the Statue of Liberty, as expressed in Emma Lazarus's poem "The New Colossus," is one of welcoming and offering refuge to immigrants, particularly those who are "tired," "poor," and "huddled masses yearning to breathe free".

The people who've been here since the fucking 1600s are America but at least I recognize that and am grateful instead of entitled like you. The reason it's the greatest country in the world is because
- It's a massive island full of some of best land and resources in the world that is virtually impossible to invade because of geography
- It was a nation comprised of the most intrepid Europeans, apparently the shit ones stayed behind
- It was first colonized by the British, and then a bunch of Germans came, a pretty damn good recipe for making a functioning civilization
TLDR it's an overpowered start location settled by overpowered people. Third worlders do not make it better.
