It makes sense that gay couples would raise kids better. They have to jump through hoops to get the. You can't accidentally fill out adoption paperwork when you get drunk on a Friday night.

fair point. what was it that obama tried to tackle the homelessness crisis and that got blocked by republicans in congress? any specific bills/measures/executive orders?

Obamacare.. -> less ppl losing their home due to an injury or sickness. That was easy. It went through though.
Obstruction is a large part of politics in the US. Passing more social laws during a crash is commendable at the very least.

Obama was the president of the crashed economy, but not by his doing.

Pretty much...nothing. He shut down a lot of VA hospitals. He created Obamacare which is actually a ripoff. In just the last two years the premiums for Obamacare have quadrupled...at least in the northeast.
He was lax on immigration, which certainly won't help.
