one of the more hilarious views that evangelicals and even catholics have is that Jesus/God, entities who are watching every soul's actions on earth and privy to the entirety of human thought for it's entire existence wouldn't be capable or even likely to adjust what they consider to be best for the human race with the changing advancements of modern times, let alone even 100 years ago post industrial revolution changing the ability for humans to look after other humans.
this is of course the same people who believe that god was once a wrathful angry god but softened his own stances via the new testament, after of course causing a worldwide flood that restarted all of humanity. among other events that killed off whole groups of people.
no no, god made rules when the romans were in power and now those last forever, plus bow and arrow rules apply to 30 round clip semi auto rifles.
sure, trying to make personal adjustments based on only our own opinions is a dangerous game, but assuming god himself has a static opinion as we changed from cavemen to spacemen is idiotic.
The less you know, the longer the explanation.
Humans have the same hearts now that they had 10,000 years ago.
Just because the tyranny of fake empathy has grown complicated unto being beyond articulation within a forum post doesn’t mean that I cant still know a lie when I see it.
