let's be truthful and clear please..
Most Asian countries with high density population like Japan, China, Vietnam, Korea, Singapore etc. have been using masks for many years strictly for protection from carbon monoxide poisoning from exhaust fumes in congested traffic.
Once they reach their destination and exit the motorbike/scooter/car they remove their mask and go about normal duties in their home or workplace or market/shop.
