Wait... you're actually serious now?

There is no such proof because the two have nothing to do with each other. That's like saying unicorns exist because of the first law of thermodynamics, and then challenging me to find a counter-argument. The laws of thermodynamics are about energy as such, and have nothing to do with the energy the human body can extract from food by digesting it. Both are called "energy" but the laws of energy as a whole have nothing to do with the nutritional value that we happen to call "energy" as well. If all atomic energy in food were absorbed and usable by the human body, eating 1 apple would be sufficient to last a lifetime and then some.

The fact that you use the laws of thermodynamics in an argument about nutrition shows that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, and you're just pulling in "proof" from stuff you've heard without ever really having questioned or understood it.

i'm not talking about nutrition, i'm talking about weight

doesn't matter whether you eat donuts or apples

- also do try to stay on topic, we're not talking about splitting atoms

Oh thats right, they told you they split an atom, good one. I think that one has something to do with the Law of Fire - the more fire one produces, the more it is believable.

being fat is not the problem, the problem is people are getting fatter and society is moving in the direction of coddling them with bullshit like body positivity and how it isn't fair to hold them accountable for the state of their body despite large amounts of crap they eat every day - i have seen your "american size" meals/drinks here in canada and i find it scary that THAT is the norm down there as the message of fat acceptance is being pounded into their heads that people can't lose weight if they tried and they'd just gain it right back - this needs to be ridiculed for the bs that it is

diet and exercise can come after you get people to accept that they can change their bodies

i await your body of evidence consisting of tumblr blogs disproving the laws of thermodynamics and how every body is different

I practically live off of Panera now but many Americans are relegated to McDonald's 😞

Garbage in garbage out. Eating shit and watching television is worse than reading books and eating well. Who would have thought? There are a lot of social determinants, like how much money one has and personal experience. If they feel powerless in the face of it they won't have hope.

And some of them might just be happy. And they will find dudes who love them....some dudes, that is their type. In this case they're fine how they are.

The vast majority have accepted defeat and decided the easier route is to pretend they are cool with being fat. If 99.99% of them could push a button and become average/skinny, they would do it.

It's hard to lose weight when sweets are so cheap, and health food takes a long time to prepare :(

Tacking on 1-2 more hours of activity a day isn't easy. Now the kids are a bit older it is feasible. I'm not nearly as diligent as my wife though.

I can honestly say I don't know anybody who actually works a nine-to-five. I know neither of my parents have ever since I was about 4 years old.

what i like:

http://hitek.fr/actualite/top-plats-gras-au-monde_2394

churros & raclette suisse.

- churros are also called "chichi" in france (http://recette.com/photo/chichi-fregi.jpg), often vendors on beach.
- raclette suisse. is awesome, just dont forget some wine and bread. Im pretty disapoint because theres not the "FONDUE SAVOYARDE" on that list; actually it's maybe the TOP one.
