A lot of people do. The word you were looking for is quintessential, probably

Quintessential definitely would be appropriate. For whatever reason I always thought "penultimate" was similar to "pinnacle".

The more you know!

Good to see some Republican-led states standing up against this nonsense.

NPR quotes the declaration of independence every year on the radio and now recently on twitter.
Some trump supporters get upset.

They're especially taking offense to the part directed at king george thinking that NPR is talking about trump.

That feeling when trump supporters are so patriotic that they get upset over the declaration of independence on the fourth of july.
You'd think this was the onion, but it's not.

Also in other news, a trump supporter shot himself in the leg over the weekend. With his revolver at a counter protest against antifa, in gettysburg because a troll facebook account that was set up to troll leftists said they were going to rip down confederate monuments, desecrate confederate graves and burn american flags. Police had trouble removing the rest of the rounds from the revolver, saying it went off again while they were handling it but no one else was hurt. Dozens of self proclaimed patriots grabbed their confederate flags, camo gear and rifles. Some were even showing up in full blown tactical gear. To come counter protest and protect the site. 4 pro confederate protest groups applied for permits, antifa did not. This is similar to the pro confederate counter protesters showing up in houston to protect a statue that no one was going after.

FOIA requests are legal. Democrats are just shilling they way to do to everything that Trump does.

Lawyers at the Justice Department are typically mum on frank details surrounding an early resignation, so it's especially unusual when one directly points to the conduct of the President of the United States as the reason for quitting.

But Hui Chen, an anti-corruption expert who formerly served in the department's fraud section of the criminal division, is publicly speaking out on the struggle of working for the top law enforcement arm of the federal government when the President dominates the headlines with what she describes as potential conflicts of interest and abuses of power she would have found unacceptable from a CEO under federal investigation.
"I could have left on November 9 or January 21, but I didn't," Chen explained in an interview with CNN. "I liked the importance of the work and loved the people I worked with (at the Justice Department). The decision wasn't easy."
In May, Chen told the department she planned to resign, but made waves when she described the circumstances of her recent departure -- including the "cognitive dissonance" of "trying to hold companies to standards that our current administration is not living up to" -- in a particularly candid post on LinkedIn last week.
"To sit across the table from companies and question how committed they were to ethics and compliance felt not only hypocritical, but very much like shuffling the deck chair(s) on the Titanic," Chen wrote. "Even as I engaged in those questioning and evaluations, on my mind were the numerous lawsuits pending against the President of the United States for everything from violations of the Constitution to conflict of interest ... and the investigators and prosecutors fired for their pursuits of principles and facts."
