Government is always going to go in favour of no abortions. It's to their advantage to be able to have a say in population control.

If I understand correctly, the SCOTUS theoretically and objectively made the right decision overturning Roe vs Wade, as it's not up to the nation to mandate such rules.

So why are we still discussing Roe vs Wade, and why are we not discussing the obvious issue of how backwards the USA's political system is? If the nation cannot uphold simple rights such as bodily autonomy, why does the nation exist at all? At this point it seems like everyone would be better off if each state were simply an independent nation, without the pointless and necessary federal layer on top.
