So why are we still discussing Roe vs Wade, and why are we not discussing the obvious issue of how backwards the USA's political system is? If the nation cannot uphold simple rights such as bodily autonomy, why does the nation exist at all? At this point it seems like everyone would be better off if each state were simply an independent nation, without the pointless and necessary federal layer on top.
I hear they have that system in Europe.
