Why are you against people becoming cultured and educated? Are you against people learning about Muslims too?

As long as it's not mandatory, what's the problem?

This combined with the Trump administration not recognizing LGBT pride month... one of the few things in politics I can applaud. We're taking America back from the heathens.

Just like Turkey and the middle east.. progress !

I believe there to be some room in public schools for life orientation and religion in general. To promote religious teachings is not for a state school. That's for the church to do.

The voters in Kentucky elected a conservative governor who feels differently.

Refusing to teach a scientific fact is quite different than offering a Bible class as an elective.

It's a lie to say American government is based on the Christian faith.

This is in their claim. It isn't a religion class or a class that will lead to cultural competency.

All of the founding fathers were practicing protestants.

Benjamin Franklin was a protestant?

The main writing and ideology behind the revolutionary war was borne out of deism. Thomas Jefferson , James Madison , and Benjamin Franklin identified as not being religious. Franklin would consider himself Christian but that a man of good morals and will has fulfilled the main requirement of being a good "christian".

Thomas Jefferson was largely affected by Deism and so was Madison.

Most of the founding fathers were established men who had educated themselves and had taken interest in the deist philosophy.
