Well, just yesterday, there were somewhere between 50k and 76k protesters joining a march which was organised by persons who explicitly didnt distance themselves from violence in general and from the violence that had taken place the night before.
By joining this protest march, all participants expressed their support for the actions of those who you call "not representative".

I'll translate the description into english as best as I can:


Translation:
"We want a demonstration during which young and old, persons with and without permits, families, persons with handicaps and so on can feel safe and be part of a joint movement for solidarity without borders. In all our diversity, we stand together, walk together, protest together."

So the organisers of this demo clearly want it to convey a unified, joint message. Cling together, swing together!
Also note how they welcome participants who are in the country ilegally.

So they explicitly welcome ALL forms of protest and expression instead of welcoming "all PEACEFUL protests". They condemn right-wing extremists, but explicitly say nothing about left-wing extremists. They explicitly allow all flags and slogans, for example antisemitic stuff or support for the kurdish PKK, which is considered a terrorist group in germany and all of europe.



Translation:
"All participating groups and spectra agree that this is a joint demonstration. Together, we carry the political and practical responsibility for the demonstration and all participants and will act accordingly."

So it's not me who holds every particpant responsible for everything that happens during this demo - the organisers themselves do that!

Its the same organisers who didnt distance themselves from violence. The same organisers who were tweeting accusations towards the police while their fellow activists were laying waste to a whole quarter of Hamburg, looting shops, beating up passerby, setting cars and houses on fire, throwing rocks and shooting metal bullets at the police.



Somewhere between 50k and 76k people yesterday joint this "Cling together, swing together"-demonstration whose demo-call didnt distance itself from violence and left-wing extremism and whose organisers are quietly approving of criminal acts. Those riots were obviously not representative of the entire left, but yesterday's protests show that tens of thousands are silent sympathisers. The looters and hooligans are not just a vanishing and irrelevant minority among the left; at least the ideological support for rioting, stealing and violence is common-place among a significant percentage of the left.
