We stole the gold from Spanish South American colonizers, gained wealth and power started colonization ourselves and thus trade routes to trade slaves towards the US.

Yep.

On the issue: The ability to criticize the president is being attacked as well.

Trump hasn't done anything to stop journalists. People just decided not to take them as seriously anymore.

Yep, that reduces accountability for Trump.. What about Churches being able to become partisan enabling them to lobby (perhaps even the other way around?). And citizens election statistics given to the government.
Why do you not think those other issues are not red flags ?

again we'll have to see how this will evolve. But this might be food for a new topic.

Why should churches not be able to lobby? Are you aware of constitutional rights?

None of these things are illegal. It angers me when clueless people pretend to understand politics.

Are you unaware of the separation of church and state?
Churches lobbying is ridiculous.

Churches not being able to participate in elections is what defines a secular democracy with a separation between religion and state. We keep church and state separate to create a more free election, where ppl are not told what to vote by a religion, they can keep an open mind. It stops a democracy from becoming a theocracy, in where not every ones right is equal anymore.

As for giving voting results to ruling governments: If a government would be able to check what their citizens vote for, they would be able to influence them more directly. like (a rather friendly method): making it more difficult to get a voters ID, or to go extreme, we can look at North Korea: have two voting stands: one for Kim, the other for the opposition. Ofc guards will see which one you will use.

Separation of church and state means the government cant disallow specific types of worship.
