The "evidence" that we read about has been "processed". Whether you get it from wikipedia or from google searches. Stuff that is deemed to be fit for public consumption tends to have been sanitized.

no, as i stated at the time the only way the Kremlin would have left a paper trail (if they ever even talked to Trump personally, which they almost certainly didn't) was if they wanted Trump in prison, which they didn't.

i called it a witch hunt from the start for that very reason, it was going to be a long and expensive process to prove nothing about Trump and at best get some of those around him put behind bars only to be replaced the next day because the only people with anything on them would be nobodies.

this is espionage 101, you never talk to who u want to get the message to, and you dont even talk to someone who talks to him. you drop a line and hope but dont expect it will run up the line.

by comparison Biden's connections to Ukraine via his son were far more direct, but even there we can see a place for plausible deniability and if need be the chance for Hunter to take all of the blame if need be, which hasnt even arisen yet.

but as to some throwaway chick that was barely within a stone's throw of Trump personally, i'm sure there was plenty of available evidence that they could use to credibly coerce a confession. no need for car batteries and pliers.

As we know all of this was quite a thing at the time, dems placed all their bets on the "Russia connection" accusations. Why did the Russian agent get served such a low sentence if there was plenty of evidence?

I think the evidence was paper thin, the accused Russian "agent" pleaded guilty cuz she was told "or else" and the feds were happy with it cuz now they had a "guilty Russian agent" to add to the Russia hoax file.
