The first line from Mika is pretty accurate. The Time magazine cover in his golf clubs are fake, Trump does lie practically every day about something, and from her point of view he's destroying the country.

The president is going to get attacked every day by media figures. Every president does. It's not the president's job to attack critical media figures, that responsibility lies with his propaganda machine(Fox News and talk radio), and perhaps some on his communications team. It's beneath the dignity of the office for a president to respond in the way he did, first by calling them crazy and psycho, second by attacking her looks. Attacking them in this way isn't fighting PC culture, that's a laughable talking point.

Was it below the dignity of previous generations of presidents? You'd be flying in the face of 200 years of America history if you pretended politicians never shot back against insults, and Trump's retort in kind is hardly a caning or pistol duel.

The people didn't want another president who lied through a smile and delegated his PR to a corrupt media machine. We've had several of those in a row
