shouldn't you guys be extremely familiar with that? being in favour of states rights only when it suits your agenda has been a staple of the republican playbook for ages. i mean it's not like there's anything even remotely resembling consistency on that issue from the right...

Ruh roh shaggy. Carrier sent the manufacturing jobs trump 'saved" to mexico anyway. Oh well, that tax credit he issued them to hold off on firing people for a few months sure did look good on the news cycle....

[x] Not winning.

In other news, the vatican compares trump to flat earthers. When the catholic church calls you out on being behind on science and compares you to flat earth nutters, you know you done fucked up.

I believe that the movement against asbestos was led by the mob, because it was often mob-related companies that would do the asbestos removal. Great pressure was put on politicians, and as usual, the politicians relented. Millions of truckloads of this incredible fire-proofing material were taken to special "dump sites" and asbestos was replaced by materials that were supposedly safe but couldn't hold a candle to asbestos in limiting the ravages of fire. @dubephnx If we didn't remove incredibly powerful fire retardant asbestos & replace it with junk that doesn't work, the World Trade Center would never have burned down.

Whilst we're at it, let's bring back leaded fuel and do away with OSHA.

He is a flat earther and no Republican has ever saved American jobs.

A sucker is born every minute.

Republicans save American jobs for foreigners and call it patriotism.

Shows how vacant the government is at the moment.

Of 559 key positions requiring Senate confirmation …

442 No nominee
15 Awaiting nomination
63 Formally nominated
39 Confirmed

Yet this is what trump says on twitter..

Blaming the democrats when people are outright turning down his nominations, and his own party is the one lagging behind on any current pending nominations. He specifically mentions ambassadors when he's barely nominated any. Just hilarious.

We just entered hurricane season and there is still no one in charge of FEMA or NOAA.

The majority of our government positions are essentially being run by a skeleton crew of holdovers from the Obama administration and career civil servants. It's fucking hectic as hell on military bases in maryland right now, especially with them trying and failing to consolidate things, they're now pushing these government jobs on people that aren't trained or paid properly for it.

Republicans don't want small government. They want to be the only ones on welfare.
