To take offence: If someone takes offence at something you say or do, they feel upset, often unnecessarily, because they think you are being rude to them.

Quite honestly I don't care if you are upset or not, but the preponderence of the evidence as would be determined by a reasonable and neutral third party would say that you are. Clearly any regard this conversation had to gun control is long over, so please, throw out one last illogical opinion on why I'm wrong in some way and enjoy the last word, you deserve it.
