I'd say go for self driving cars, due to the network that we have. It should take over when a driver is drunk in the near future, until we've created something more efficient, likely not to be owned by citizens.
This of course is about control. To make life a little bit safer for everyone.

One of us is definetly being stupid. How is a gun not useful? It can allow a physically weaker individual to protect themselves from a physically stronger individual attempting to commit crime against them, it can be used to hunt, it can be used for recreation, it can be used for sport, it can be used as a means to amass power in the hands of a population of people as a check against power of a minority elite. How is a car that drives faster than 55 mph legally useful? You are a hypocrite. Everything you've posted is logically flawed, it would be funny if the subject werent an issue where Americans rights are actually being threatened by ignorant and malicious people like you.



I am saying that banning guns will not make people safer and logic is on my side. Regardless, safety does not trump the need for liberty, otherwise everyone should be locked in a cage their whole lives.

The thing is I actually don't support a gun ban. The reason I'm arguing points that appear to be in line with a gun ban is because your arguments are so terrible and easily discredited. Basically I was just trying to point out that what you're doing is counterproductive. If you're going to act like an idiot while arguing for something I prefer if you not bother arguing in the first place. There are far better arguments against a gun ban than what you are giving and they have the added benefit of you not looking like an idiot when you say them.
