first of all, i don't know what kind of media you consume on a regular basis, but the news i read / watch clearly distinguish between the "radical left" and the "political left". and even if yours doesn't, that's hardly an excuse for you to do the same - if you want to act like you're at least somewhat fair.
concerning my own political views, you should have noticed that i'm all over the place when it comes to german parties, which includes even extreme parties like the afd and the linke on singular issues. i always have to compromise heavily in elections, and usually vote for the one i have to make the least amount of compromises for, regarding topics that matter to me.
that was, however, not the point here. i merely wanted to illustrate how simplistic your generalisations were by showing that in the vast majority of cases they DON'T apply to "the left"...
practically the same i guess, the standard local and nationwide newspapers, tagesschau news, that kind of stuff
and when you look at how heavily they trivialize left wing outrages (and the migrant crime wave), using the word "activist" actual terrorists.....thats where i find it hard to tell which side they actually are on
you cant deny that the general media is not really diverse
then there is the mess of the social democratic party that is already embracing ultra leftist positions by now, the green party and linke go without saying
so where is the reasonable left or central left nowadays?
like the social democrats back in the days of helmut schmidt for example
the closest one right is merkel ffs, who has turned a former conservative party into a.......chameleon like being
i would actually consider the liberal party, but i will not give my vote to someone who is lying in bed with the green party
