I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

To be fair, I seriously wanted to shift my 401(k) portfolios into safe havens back then too. It wasn't hard to see. I neglected to do so though, so now it's HODL mode.

So my cousin travels all the time & just got back from Germany a couple of weeks ago. Today she was informed that one of the people she was hanging around while there just tested positive for COVID-19. She’s now self-isolating in her room in my aunt & uncles home, where my 80-year old gma lives. So...fuck

Burr was one of three Senators to vote against the STOCK Act (Stop Trading On Congressional Knowledge), which passed 96-3.

Total coincidence.

Burr was one of two Senators to vote against the STOCK Act (Stop Trading On Congressional Knowledge), which passed 93-2.

Total coincidence.

3.

Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC)
Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK)
Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D-NM)

It later passed in the house 417–2.

Rep. John Campbell (R-Calif.)
Rep. Rob Woodall (R-Ga.)

House republicans still managed to strip some of it.

But yes, I'm sure burr opposing it was just another coincidence.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump held a teleconference Thursday with governors at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the federal agency leading the national coronavirus response.

The governors, including Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, have complained of a lack of tests and medical supplies.

Vice President Mike Pence said the response, however, will be federally supported but executed by state and local officials.

“The federal government's not supposed to be out there buying vast amounts of items and then shipping," Trump said. “You know, we're not a shipping clerk.” He said governors “are supposed to be doing it.”

Baker said Massachusetts lost bids for three big orders to the federal government.

"I got a feeling that if somebody has a chance to sell to you or has the chance to sell to me that I'm going to lose every one of those," Baker said while speaking to Trump.

"Well, we do like you going out, seeing what you can get if you can get it faster, and prices always a component of that also," the president said. "And maybe that's why you lost to the feds, I'll tell you that's probably why."

“We'll help out, and we'll help out wherever we can," he said.

I wonder if this is contributing to the lack of supplies in other states.

Mental health doesn't count. lol

Also, our county is taking such a strong action because we only have 26 ICU beds and 24 ventilators in the entire county.

damn that's insanely scarce.

Another thing, even though the STOCK act forbids this, this is what ended up happening.

thank you and well said my friend! I really do think he tried to move here and had his visa declined due to his hateful and rageful tendencies, hence the grudge he holds. there’s enough of those types already!
