Then the grocery store didn't read the law because federal full time has always been 32 hours afaik

Yeah, they all take corporate money and can be turds. They all play the political calculus. That doesn't make them equal because, shocker, the only ones making any kind of push for solving that money problem are coming from one side of the aisle. Oh, and Republicans policy is to actively remove pretty much all campaign finance laws.

" they both do it so theyre equal" vs "they both do it, but Rob does it every day and Dennis does it once on Saturday".

lol at believing the left is making any concerted effort to fix campaign finance. there's 1 in 10 every campaign primary cycle that signal it for a bump, and then zero action once they get the nomination. Bernie is basically the only one who anyone could trust to fix that issue, or in reality try and fail to fix it.

Liberals: "we believe the govt needs to be involved in most aspects of your life, and trust us we'll make it better".....fails to make anything better while simultaneously bringing corporate interests in your life.

Republicans: "we don't want the govt involved in your life, trust us it will be better".....brings in corporate interests anyways and abandons even the whiff of fiscally conservative spending.

at least the GOP side doesnt offer a false promise of fixing your life with govt action on literally every aspect of policy. the constant answer by the democrats is regulation, legislation, and taxation. on literally every single issue. and they've fixed nothing, at all. not homelessness, not crime, not campaign finance, not high education financing, not housing, not drugs, etc. all while claiming if the other side didn't exist we'd be in a paradise, whilst the inner cities are democrat utopias of crime, violence and shitty schools with no economic prospects.

I love being classified as being subhuman because I live in a city lol.

GOP compares half the US to animals everytime they talk about people in Detroit, Baltimore, Atlanta, here in Cincinnati, any city.

That is why people don't like them very much.

maybe people shouldn't voluntarily connect themselves to violent criminals simply because they live in an area with the same population density and arbitrarily drawn district lines as them.

if you hear a politician talking about street crime and you as a non criminal get offended by it i dont really know what to say. the reality is that most major cities are dirty, careless by comparison to small towns, and filled with crime (violent and otherwise).

i try not to visit any city over 100k population if i can help it, they're terrible places to be let alone live in.

democrats have a natural advantage for pulling in minorities. minorities need help, of that there is no doubt. democrats lie about wanting to help them and republicans dont. neither side really helps unless it's greenlit by corporate overlords. housing projects are a quick cash grab for contractors. etc etc etc.

you aren't special because you live in a city. no one is. no one is special because they live in a suburb or on a farm either.
Democrats say the rest of the US is deplorable and beyond redemption. i dont take it personally i just laugh at their out-of-touch logic

You're leaving out some important factors in why Republicans don't poll well with minorities, and it might be that whole being the party of the KKK and some of their politicians using obvious dog whistles to avoid alienating hate groups.

I feel the same way about rural and suburbs man. I love my cities. I think tolerance is important because I don't think you're shitty because you live in the suburbs or a smaller city.

They aren't talking about street criminals either. Homelessness is criminalized and so is mental illness now. A lot of crime is economically caused, and wouldn't the cousin of an animal also be an animal? Wouldn't a schizophrenic cousin who can't stay out of jail being labeled as an animal be insulting coming from someone who views your struggles as alien and makes no attempts to understand you?

I have to respectfully disagree.

Also I have committed crimes before. I was arrested once for not going from my front yard into my house on the count of two by a pig on a power trip, which probably makes me an animal as well.

It's okay, like Socrates I would rather live in the city of dogs than the city of man. I don't want to be your neighbor either ;)

Democrats don't routinely refer to rural and suburban Americans as animals.

and you're leaving out how republicans had to grab up rural areas after the democrats became the party of the unions that rose in the industrial revolution.

we can play the chicken and egg game all day, but why? you're already convinced they do what they do out of racist reasons rather than political necessity because you think you're on the morally superior side.

they're just playing at war while the bankers get paid. democrats dont care about black people and republicans dont care about white superiority.

most black people recognize this, they realize democrats are fuckbois who don't have their best interest at heart.

democrats are convinced they get low % of urban votes compared to population because of GOP redistricting or unfair voting locations or w/e. it's like 10% that and 90% of blacks choosing not to participate in politics. i'd bet my bank account that black people talk about not voting more than any other racial demographic.

tl;dr, it's true blacks dont like the republican party and with good reason due to their racial pandering. but they dont like democrats either. so whats really the point?

if they were literally calling people animals (shocker, humans ARE animals) sure to the cousin/cousin thing. by it's not literal lol. wtf

you can live in a city all you want, i support as many people fleeing to urban areas as i can get. makes land price a lot cheaper.

Yes yes, Republicans care just as much about minorities despite courting racist groups to stay elected.

Yeah I'm done here. You made my point for me better than I ever could.

Also, that's some straight up Cam level BS. "Duh, humans ARE animals! Gotcha liberal!"
