Yeah they have but it's the usual back and fourth. I think this feels different because its so visible to the Russian middle-upper class many of which are concentrated in Moscow. Your capital is burning, there's acid rain. Ukrainians and other pro-western accounts are celebrating today (see link) but undoubtedly they will respond which will be met with cries, and the circle repeats.

I do think this is different because these type of images can easily get the masses even more behind the war. Again, don't think we see a general mobilization but what if Putin decides to expand the war and open a Belarus front? Nuke? probably not. There's a lot of other what if's that can be thought of here.

Russia's response was:

We are no longer pursuing a diplomatic response and will give our army what it needs to achieve total victory.
I think Putin said that somewhere in the last 2 weeks.

I'm not trying to nitpick or start anything, I'm adding depth to the subject. For almost 5 years.

Had to do a quick second take, start of 2022 the larger scale invasion started. Time goes way too fast as an adult.

Not sure how this ends, perhaps just a conflict frozen in-time with ultra militarized boarders where neither wants to concede but they just stop the aggression. That is, if Ukraine is willing to concede some territory.

Russia and Europe are gearing up to go to war. i think we will get some heavy messing over the next 4 years. i mean, already there is a massive war going on in Ukraine.

That's great news for US arms suppliers for the next say 4 or 5 years of ramp up. Cold War 2.0.
