Charlie's seemed to not really understand that alot of famous and powerful people in America culture are homosexual or lesbian or a combination of both. An equal amount to the straight people.
The whole foundations of America are built on this too. That's why the statue of liberty looks like both man and woman and so does Jesus, and why Lincoln slept in the same bed as another man...If it hasn't occurred to you all yet your current president is like this too and has just as strong relationships with men as he does with his own wife.
Charlie was a walking contradiction because of his one sided viewpoints on this. Even his stance on gun laws revolved around those who use them to protect rather than those who attack. He was not able to rationalize and see both sides of these debates and as a result pushed these debates to breaking point.
It's much like if you debate a round earth vs a flat earth. If you are unable to rationalize both perspectives and you do this all day everyday as a job there will inevitably be a breaking point if you always take the same one sided stance also. That is why we have street directories AND globe models available. So you can have freedom of choice...
Some of these topics need to be brought to light though. And as a true Christian Charlie has definitely done that. So he has achieved the outcome he wanted as peoples awareness who followed him has now reached a new level.
