Arguing about "gun laws are not effective" is incorrect: it would require legislation at federal levels (permit etc) AND it would take years to see big effects.
Thus some effect could be detectable on stats relatively early IMO.

Or maybe ask teachers to arm up like we do in every other industry....

Stop blaming mental issues for these massacres

I have a lot of friends who go to a psychiatrist and are normal people

You can be born with mental issues just like someone is born without an arm or leg, you don’t have to judge these kind of people or isolate them.

On the other hand, regarding gun law, I do agree if you have a mental issue you should not be able to posses a firegun because you might be unstable and not fully aware of your own emotions and control.

But my point is: if the news keep blaming mental issues for these massacres people with mental issues get even more stigma around them and they probably become even more isolated and alone
They should limit the posses of guns to “sane” people if we want to call them like that.

The problem then becomes that identifying someone with mental issues is not easy, sometimes they can hide it for a long period of time or mental issues can arise during your lifetime.
What I want to make clear is that blaming solely mental issues for these massacres is wrong and augment the stigma toward people who are really suffering but are harmless
