The reason is actually very simple. There are a lot of philosophical questions that aren’t answered.
Why are you alive? What’s the point of life? Where do you come from? What happens after death? What is the catalyst for the Big Bang (assuming that theory is real)? And on and on. Here I’m obviously not talking about the biological or physical factors but the philosophical questions.
Why do we have consciousness and have developed views on morality and right and wrong? Even when looking at cultures that had never contact with each other they have similar such complex concepts.
Biology and most science has no answers to these type of questions.
