Its almost like DJ was told this 10x, and all he has left is to imply thats what you meant. sad!

*Suggests DJ needs to be explained the difference between winter and summer wheat.
Dj points out it's the other way round, Santara had to be told the wheat shortage is a problem cuz winter wheat needs to be planted in fall ya know. DJ links quote from months ago to show he explained this to Santara.

Santara + his buddy snipa (cuz alone he feels he gets EZd by DJ): DID YOU NOT KNOW IT"S MOSTLY WINTER WHEAT HOW COME YOU KNOW NOTHING

Sad indeed.

as i said you're being willfully obtuse in suggesting his post meant we'd fix the shortage in real time, rather than him saying in the long run the USA can stop a global famine over the long run by planting more wheat and less corn.

u even said "people need that wheat now" and he didnt contradict you nor say that we'd have it ready with 2022 plantings, then you went right back to "you said USA could fix it in real time" after being told that's not what he meant.

the Ukraine is a world wide bread basket, the Ukraine right now has drastically reduced yields, the world is used to the Ukraine producing X amount of wheat, the world has land that doesnt currently grow wheat, if Ukraine can't grow that wheat other places will. other places with worse yields in bushels per acre, or places like the USA where bushel yields may be on par but due to the Ukrainian wheat production it was more cost effective to grow corn, and now the market has changed, and we'll grow more wheat during out next planting and less corn.

this is common sense, saying the USA has time machines isn't, and no one was saying that. Santara simply pointed out a basic truth even many americans arent aware of, we grow far too much corn and can grow far more wheat. the only side effect may be higher gas prices due to lower ethanol production, but with most blends having 10-15% its not going to be bank breaking.

telling people "this is what you meant even though you say thats not what you meant" is childish behavior, you just look immature in this whole engagement.

Nice rant, let me simply point out your hilarious childish reaction in this thread when felt he should teach me about winter wheat

its funny that idiots who couldnt grow lettuce in a window box like to spout off incorrectly about agriculture so often. i recall one time i had to tell card sultan that there were different types of corn, because i said we grow pop corn, and he said "dont u just mean corn?", lol.

Which prompted me to point out to YOU that I was right about the winter wheat issue from the beginning while you guys weren't. I had saved this quote because I knew it going to come back to him:
Tell us more, oh wise sage.

Oil is already coming back down. Know why? Because Russian oil is still being sold - now at a big discount to India. What happens when India buys from Russia instead of their usual suppliers (those not under sanction)? Well then those suppliers have supplies they can divert to non-sanctioning countries. So the buyers still get their products, the producers still sell, but Russia just has to do so cheaper than other producers.

Also, the world isn't going to starve while Ukrainian farmers swap plows for swords. American farmers produce 10x as much corn as Ukraine produces wheat, which is mostly wasted in ethanol production. And guess what! This year's crop hasn't even begun planting yet, and if American farmers foresee a spike in wheat prices due to a shortfall elsewhere, they can easily take up the slack. Easily.
Read the fucking BOLD!!!

--> And guess what! This year's crop hasn't even begun planting yet --> He was absolutely clueless about winter wheat.

The absolute saddest part here is you bunch of selfish fucks not giving a shit about the poorest countries in the world because of your Russia bad obsession, you lot are complete and utter incapable of proper international politics, the issue could have been solved before the war but now the whole fucking world is paying the price.

Oh and BTW he was wrong about the oil too, the world is paying crazy energy prices, once again driving more ppl into poverty.

Well done chuds, well done.

You couldn't read it then, and you're trying to re-write history now. Last fall's winter wheat crop is the only significant grain price to experience a sharp spike, and there's really nothing that could be done about it, but to say people are going to starve over this is myopic. My assessment then is just as valid now.

Nothing in the posts above imply no knowledge of winter wheat.

Stalin was selling Ukrainian wheat abroad which resulted in Holodomor and million deaths of his own citizens, now Zelensky is doing the same. Rise of the dick-tator.

You know the real schtick now don't you. It goes like this

Russia is no more than a gas station, CNN says so.
The sanction work wonders, we kicked them from swift (ruble gets stronger and stronger). Oh well new round of sanctions we're gonna ban all Russian energy (massive inflation everywhere but Russia is loading up because of that). Oh well new round of sanction bla bla rinse&repeat.
We gonna flood Ukraine with weapons so they defeat the orcs (Russia hasn't even mobilized).
There's gonna be no grain shortage we uhh ermmm gonna have plenty winter wheat from next fall, I mean from previous fall ya know...
