“Though caused by a different virus from the one that causes COVID-19, the flu is also a respiratory viral disease, so everything we are doing to slow transmission of COVID-19, such as wearing face masks, frequent handwashing and physical distancing, should also reduce transmission of flu,” says Eili Klein, Ph.D., associate professor of emergency medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

here's the truth:

Animal test analysis:

"Surprisingly, we have observed that treatment with ivermectin has not limited viral replication, the treated and untreated models had similar amounts of viral load in the nasal cavity and in the lungs. Our results reveal that Ivermectin has an immunomodulatory and non-antiviral effect"

So it can only helps in reducing the inflammation. Eventually.

The nice point:

The effect of ivermectin on secondary spermatocytes and serum total proteins
-----considerable signs of chromosomal damage to germ cells-------

I have heard though and that info could be wrong but from people wearing the mask everywhere all the time your actually kind of lowering your immune system. Since your in the mask you aren't catching the virus's and common colds and such, so eventually you will become more susceptible to catching them, or perhaps they will be worse on you. Its almost like you still need to be exposed to all the normal colds and flus and such to build resistance to it. It makes sense.

Yup, virus experts worry about a catastrophic upcoming flu season because of the unusually low amounts of immunity built over the past winter:
