Friend told me the DGU was because they were chasing him down for shooting someone in the head. Is there a video of that first encounter?

theres distant video of gunshots followed by them walking up to the guy shot in the head. Not sure if anyone caught exactly what happened, and no idea if two events are related at all.

Ian Miles Cheong, Elijah Schaffer and Andy Ngos twitter threads have most of it. Seems to be a libertarian pro-BLM group showed up heavily armed to support the rioters and/or protect businesses (apparently, both) and at least one shooter was among them and at least one shooting was clearly defensive

Theres footage showing him interviewed earlier in the night saying he is there to protect private property, while also supporting BLM and calling for medics for an injured rioter. Still unclear what happened in the first incident, but when he was chased down afterwards the guys attacking him were armed with both melee weapons and pistols- the guy whos arm had a chunk blown out was filmed still holding his gun even afterwards. And all the gunshots ringing out afterwards were not from the rifleman, more armed people in the riots trading gunfire
