The problem isnt the rising up, the problem is the violence. The Right wants neither the government nor rioters to break the law or to infringe on basic rights, which is in fact a very consistent position. (And yes, this has to also extend to police brutality, something the right should be more vocal about...)

Limiting protests to being within the law is a great way to get nothing done. When the enforcers of the law can break the law without reprecussion the laws cease to have meaning.

Theres also never been an uprising that fit in the bounds of the law. The laws are the things you rise up against after all.

Either way, we can agree to disagree on the efficacy of peaceful protest - but what we should be able to agree on is that looting and arson are not acceptable forms of protest. Technically breaking the law via civil disobedience is in a different ballpark than violence and pointless destruction.

Eisenhower sent in federal forces to ensure the legal integration of schools was not stopped by (D)s like duhcrossbones’ ancestors. later on JFK had to the same to george wallace (D) another vile lefty who tried to stand in schoolhouse doors to block black children from getting an education
