I'd love details. What specific surgery? Doesn't mean much if she was denied breast implants after all.

Eye surgery. Waited two years being told constantly it isn't bad enough (health rationing you liberals insist isn't a thing). Had it done in Florida after she went blind in the eye and they still insisted she couldn't have it.

Liberals are pretty upset about health care rationing in the United States I don't know you're talking about.

There are so many fighting for health insurers to be the rationers and I'm on team f**** that.

A couple things that are important.

Surgery likely wasnt the only treatment option, being able to do surgery doesn't mean you should. Without knowing her medical records we cant really make a judgement.
Second, that kind of thing happens ALL THE TIME in the United States, and usually its insurance companies refusing it. My dad had to wait a year to get a basic carpal tunnel surgery because it wasnt bad enough and hes got great insurance through his union (he lives in Texas)

And yet they want a system that is proven to ration health-care.

Because no discussion of healthcare rationing can be complete without American Insurance companies being brought out

In the US, should you chose to pay for an operation, you can. My understanding is that was not an option for her, hence a sunny Florida vacation.

Im sure she could have found a private doctor to do the operation in canada. Still, if the comparison is just where she chose to pay for herself and she was receiving other treatment its not really a case of rationing.

Your socialist utopia cannot exist. Quit making excuses for it.
