So bills are authoritarian now? Interesting. How how many lefty proposals you feel are authoritarian.

I hope you're not making the false assumption that I identify as a liberal

instead of deflecting, maybe you can answer the question that was proposed to endless

1. do you believe removing an ectopic pregnancy is murder?

2. do you believe willingly leaving an ectopic pregnancy is negligence?

if the answer to the above are yes and no respectively, tell me what you suggest should occur

You are a centrist in the context of western European politics.

Your views would be left wing in the US.

Basically what I said, yes. :)

Still doesn't answer the first question, responses by saying someone else is deflecting. A++

According to the article the bill demands that instead of removal the ectopic pregnancy is to be "implanted" in the uterus, where it should have been.

I don't see where that should be impossible, as the article claims.

/e I mean, I know they can implant fertilized eggs in the uterus. I don't see where this would be that much harder.

/ee I guess if the ectopic pregnancy is too far along, then it might not be possible. But if it's still in the early stages, it should be doable.

FFS - This is medically impossible. Source: Me asking the doctors if it was possible when it happened to my wife the first time (it's happened twice).

There's impossible and impossible, bro. Currently, it's the recommended procedure to just remove it, I know this. But like I said, if it's caught early enough, I don't see the problem with implanting it in the uterus.

Personally I don't think the bill will pass, or that it's a good idea. But I do think, that if it's caught early enough, it should be doable.

It cannot be reimplanted after it has already implanted elsewhere (like the Fallopian tubes). That's the difference between implanting fertilized eggs and this. Those fertilized eggs have not implanted anywhere. An ectopic pregnancy has.

This is a hill I will fucking die on.

IF that's the case... (say implanting starts something that can't really be moved), then there's no worry, the bill will fail.

/e Keep in mind that this article is in a left leaning media source. We really don't know wtf the bill actually states, or anything about it... at this point.

But that's a problem in and of itself. You have legislators using religious dogma and science fiction in order to propose legislation.

Yeah, sorta like Russiagate and Ukrainegate. We only have one left leaning article so far. We don't have the text of the bill.

/e People on both sides of the abortion issue... lie. Media on both sides... lie. Politicians on both sides lie.

Actually we do, it's literally in the article. Try reading it.
