What we're experiencing across the Western world these days is the opposite, a "demographic squeeze" where there are relatively few working-age people having to pay for the pensions and healthcare of a very high number of old people. Basically, this is the moment where the wealth we were "lending" during the post-war is due to be paid back.
Values of the Boomers: stuff is more important than children.
Used to be a population pyramid, now they are plateau.
Boomers have taken their children and grand children are holding them up by the ankles and shaking the money out of all of their pockets haha.
They feel so entitled to be on this earth with a high quality of life they will hang on indefinitely and artificially hold on as long as possible.
They built a political system to benefit them at everybody else's expense.
That they got all that Peace & Love out of their system early on.
