cleanest race was on my list i may have to give it a spin. Korean perceived racial superiority is really a wonder to behold.

should read Malice's book, he's less condescending as an author but a prick as a person lol. he's got a podcast but it's dogshit tbh, spends too much time lamenting how modern Liberal Ayn Rand fans are schmucks and not enough time on NK.

ps successfully trigger sir.

I listen to audiobooks but some would say that doesn't really fully classify as "reading". I just do all my podcasts/"reading" on night shift at work.

And this. It boils their asses that the majority of Americans voted him in. To them, it means the majority of Americans are idiots.

1, the majority of Americans ARE idiots, have been idiots, and will always be idiots, regardless of who is president and who they voted for.
2, not only did Trump not get voted in by a majority of Americans, losing the popular election by about 3 million votes, the majority of Americans didn't even vote at all.

i find there's an issue with reading for comprehension if you're doing something taxing. so i generally toss on a podcast if i'm actually doing something hard. but 1/2 of my job when i'm in the office is mindlessly copy/pasting stuff for emails. and when i'm on the road about 90% of my time is spent driving or sitting in a waiting room.

I recently read the first book in the Malazan series on plaguefear's (iirc) recommendation which is really complex fantasy with purposefully ambiguous terms and characters. it was tough to follow on audio, but after i finished i read a synopsis or two and i was fine heading into the second book. but i legit needed that synopsis to keep it all straight once i was done.

trump was asked for notes/specifics, and replied that he took none because he has one of the greatest memories of all time.

the deflection was a silly one, likely to spin the news on something to make themselves look like idiots at jumping on the bait so he can roll out a big announcement in the next few days. they'll play right to him for sure.

its a bit silly to really make longterm agreements in the first meeting for this reason. the story should have just been first contact made, but both want to make a big splash with the first headline. of course a worthwhile deal hasn't been made, and shouldn't be on the first meeting. that's like buying the first car u test drive.

Joint Statement of President Donald J. Trump of the United States of American and Chairman King Jong Un of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at the Singapore Summit

President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a first, historic summit in Singapore on June 12, 2018.

President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un conducted a comprehensive, in-depth, and sincere exchange of opinions on the issues related to the establishment of new U.S.-DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula. President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

Convinced that the establishment of new U.S.-DPRK relations will contribute to the peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and of the world, and recognizing that mutual confidence building can promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following.

1. The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.

2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.

3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

Having acknowledged that the U.S-DPRK summit — the first in history — was an epochal event of great significance in overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening up of a new future, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un commit to implement the stipulations in this joint statement fully and expeditiously. The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations, led by the U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the U.S.-DPRK summit.

President Donald J. Trump of the United States and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea have committed to cooperate for the development of new U.S.-DPRK relations and for the promotion of peace, prosperity, and security of the Korean Peninsula and of the world.
