And the African American community rampant with wedlock?

A much higher chance of crime. Should we imprison all African Americans brought up by single moms immediately?

From 1890 - 1960ish married couples headed 80 percent of all black households then in the mid- late 60's black leaders started being assassinated or killed (MLK , Malcom X, Fred Hampton) & then a decline in hard labor resulted in unemployment for black men who didn't adapt to the tech changes. In the 1970's Systems such as Wic, food stamps, public housing were created. Which was never intended to be a permanent dependency. In the 80's you had the crack epidemic which hit the black community hard and locked away more black men. By 1990 the married couples plummeted to 38% and then shortly after that the 1994 crime bill signed by Bill Clinton and the rest is history.

Yep, our society systemically targeted black men to create the situation we have today. The slavers were never content to lose their slaves, so they just call them inmates instead.

why do you feel it is your responsibility to tell Americans to change and how to do it?

Because I'm superior and you need me.

But you're making it about the 1st Amendment when nobody, aside from yourself, is.

I'm presenting an alternate approach. We have to do something, whatever it is will cost a freedom. Which it will be is up for debate. People have certainly suggested a law that makes it illegal to post shooter info, im just pointing out why that went work. While recognizing it would have worked not so long ago.

But that's not the only aspect of the first at play. Be a highschool kid who visits a gun range and posts about it if u don't believe that. There are real attempts to stifle expression at play now

This shooting occurred not even 5 miles away from where I currently work. I have never seen so many police cars and first responder vehicles in my life. They all zoomed past me on my morning commute.

Absolutely devastating news for this community. We are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, and now the people of this region have to cope with another tragedy.

Despite hitting so close to home, I feel a disturbing sense of normalcy surrounding school shootings. I feel desensitized to it now. The news, the aftermath, the political discussion. I feel like I’ve lived it all a million times now, and I know a lot of others feel the same way.

I hope we can find solutions to saving people’s lives, and I have seen some good ideas, but my gut feeling on this is our country is experiencing some sort of vast and complicated cultural decline that's both contributing to the issue and preventing us from making steps to address it.
