If dems win the house and attempt impeachment, its going to backfire and theyre going to get smashed in 2020 from the scorned gop base

they wont come anywhere near getting the 67 senators required for removing trump from office even if the house impeaches him. so it would be clear to any halfway informed voter that the whole impeachment process would be just for show from the get-go.
